China's Successful Launch of 6 Satellites, including Qilian-1 and Jilin-1 Wide 02B02-06, etc.

      At 12:11(Beijing time)on September 20,2024, China successfully launched six satellites, including Qilian-1(Jilin-1 Wide 02B01)and Jilin-1 Wide 02B02-06, into the scheduled orbit by Long March 2D Rocket Launcher from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the form of "one rocket for six satellites", and the mission achieved a complete success.

      The Jilin 1 Wide 02B Satellite is the latest generation of coverage-type satellites funded and developed by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd.and it is the first optical remote sensing satellite with ultra-large width and high resolution developed in small batches in China. The Jilin-1 wide 02B series satellite has broken through numerous key technologies in the design and manufacturing stage, and its payload is an off-axis four mirror optical camera, which is the lightest optical remote sensing satellite of ultra-large-width sub-meter class in the world, and it can provide users with high-definition satellite image products with 150km width and 0.5m resolution. It has the characteristics of batch production, large width, high resolution, high speed digital transmission and low cost.

      This mission is the 28th launch of the Jilin-1 satellite project.
